FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to diagnostics in urology, and can be used in bimanual compression ultrasound examination in the projection of a large sciatic notch forming a large sciatic opening, and in the suprapubic region in the diagnosis of inflammatory infiltrative pelvic formations in males. The patient is placed on his stomach or in a half-side position on the side opposite to the examined side. Ultrasound examination is performed with a filled bladder, while rectal finger examination is performed during ultrasound examination, at the time of which bimanual compression is performed, for which the position and size of infiltrative formations in the projection of the vas deferens are determined with a finger inserted into the rectum. Then the detected formations are compressed in the direction of the ultrasound device sensor, which is moved in the projection of the acoustic zone towards the finger led into the rectum, until an image of palpatorally tangible formations is obtained. After receiving the image of the infiltrative formation, the image is fixed on the monitor screen of the ultrasound device and measurements of the identified formations are made in a static position. To diagnose formations, the ultrasound sensor is placed first in the suprapubic region in the projection of the vas deferens, visualizing the formations located in the lower sections of the vas deferens in the paraprostatic space, and then in the projection of a large sciatic notch forming a large sciatic opening, visualizing the location of formations in the upper sections of the vas deferens.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in diagnostic accuracy due to bimanual compression trans-incision ischiadic and suprapubic ultrasound examination.
