SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microparticles containing cysteamine, cystamine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or their composite ester and a stabilizing agent, where the stabilizing agent is selected from a group consisting of disaccharides and sucrose alcohols, and where microparticles contain 70-95 wt.% of disaccharide or sucrose alcohol, while particles have a size from 1 to 13 microns. The invention also relates to the use of microparticles for the treatment of such respiratory diseases as cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, emphysema, chronic obstructive airway obstruction, chronic cough, common cold, flu, hantavirus infection, pneumonia or pleurisy. The invention also relates to a method for the treatment of the specified diseases and an inhalation device based on the above-described microparticles.
EFFECT: microparticles of compounds known from the state of the art are obtained that provide a practically used method for the delivery of cysteamine in patients with a lung disease, while obtained microparticles are stable.
