FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used in the development of gently sloping and slightly inclined coal seams in conditions of large water inflows. Method for developing seams by long pillars along strike with reverse order of mining includes joint driving by roadheaders of a doubled conveyor roadway, which is intended for the overlying longwall, and a ventilation roadway, which is intended for the underlying longwall, with the formation of dead-end tunneling faces. One of the tunneling machines passes the breaks between them, with the help of which they carry out ventilation and connection into one cargo flow of cargo flows from the tunneling faces. The step between the breaks and their location is determined without taking into account the location of the areas of local deepening of the soil of double drifts. Identification of areas of local deepening of the soil of double drifts, for which it is required to place drainage breaks for draining water onto the ventilation drift of the underlying longwall, is carried out as the double drifts pass or in the process of mining the overlying longwall according to the actual accumulation of water. Drainage breaks pass with a smaller cross-section than the rest of the breaks. The sinking of drainage cuts is carried out during the mining of the overlying longwall with the help of a suspended tunneling rock-cutting unit of selective action, which, before the start of sinking of the drainage cut, is placed using the space of the conveyor drift of the overlying longwall above the conveyor designed to transport the mineral from the working longwall, without the need to stop it, which also used for transportation of broken rock mass from passable drainage failures.

EFFECT: reduction of time, volumes and simplification of work related to the preparation and development of the extraction column.
