FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is claimed: an aerosol generating device and an aerosol generating system containing a bimetal element. The aerosol generating device contains a casing containing the first tubular section for accommodation of a combustible heat source and the second tubular section for accommodation of aerosol generating substrate. It also contains a heat-conductive element located between the first tubular section and the second tubular section of the casing for heat transfer from the combustible heat source placed in the first tubular section to aerosol generating substrate placed in the second tubular section. The heat-conductive element contains a bimetal element with the first section and the second section, and a heat-insulating sleeve around at least a segment of the second tubular section of the casing. The heat-insulating sleeve contains one or more inlets for air. The bimetal element is made with the possibility of deformation from the first position, in which the first section of the bimetal element is located near the first tubular section of the casing, and the second section of the bimetal element is located near the second tubular section of the casing, to the second position, in which the first section of the bimetal element is displaced from the first tubular section of the casing in the direction of the second tubular section of the casing, when the bimetal element is heated to a higher temperature than a threshold temperature.
EFFECT: provision of control of conductive heat transfer from a combustible heat source placed in the first tubular section of a casing to aerosol generating substrate placed in the second tubular section of the casing through the specified heat-conductive element.
