SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multi-component element for an aerosol-generating article, wherein the multicomponent element comprises a combustible heat source; an aerosol-forming substrate located downstream of the combustible heat source; and wrapper surrounding combustible heat source along at least part of its length; wherein the combustible heat source has at least one recess of a predetermined shape on its outer surface, wherein the multicomponent element further contains an inorganic adhesive disposed between the combustible heat source and the wrapper, wherein the inorganic adhesive is at least partially filled with a recess of a predetermined shape.
EFFECT: technical result is the provision of an aerosol.
