FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-generating article, such as a heated smoking article. Aerosol generating article comprises a combustible heat source; an aerosol-forming substrate located downstream of the combustible heat source; a wrapper surrounding at least a rear portion of the combustible heat source and at least a front portion of the aerosol-forming substrate. In the area of the wrapper covering the combustible heat source, there are multiple attenuated sections, and the wrapper is configured to break when used on a plurality of weakened portions to form a ventilation zone comprising a plurality of openings extending through the wrapper.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at prevention of unfavourable effect on conductive heat transfer from combustible heat source to substrate forming aerosol.
