FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an improved system for release of useful ticks and to the use of such a system. Types of ticks, which can be beneficially used in human purposes, can be used, for example, for control of pests in the field of agriculture, including systems of agricultural production of plant products, systems of agricultural production of animal products, in animal husbandry, or in the field of storage of food products. The system, according to the present invention, can be used in any of these fields. The system includes a compartment containing a population of useful ticks, preferably with a carrier, and a food source for useful ticks. The compartment for ticks is surrounded by material with an inner surface adjacent to the compartment for ticks, an outer surface outside the compartment for ticks, consisting of gas-barrier material with a speed of water steam passage of ≤ 5 g/m2·24 h. The compartment for ticks has a volume of x mm3, where x is from 3·103 to 600·103 mm3. The system contains a number of connections, which connect the compartment for ticks to a space outside the compartment for ticks, wherein each connection from the mentioned number of connections has an area y from 0.1 to 4.0 mm2, wherein the sum of areas of this number of compounds is Σy and is equal to 5·103 ≤ x/Σy ≤ 70·103 mm. Enclosing material is laminate containing gas-barrier material and water-absorbing porous material, wherein water-absorbing porous material is the outer surface. A method for the production of a system, its use, and a method for control of pests are also proposed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for the reduction in the probability of water ingress into compartments for ticks.
