FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for diagnostics of vasculogenic erectile dysfunction in adult men. When implementing the method, a patient is prepared by putting a sensor recorder on the root of the penis. Nocturnal penile tumescences are recorded. At the same time, the recording of penile tumescences is based on the transformation of mechanical changes in blood filling and increase in the diameter of the penis into electromagnetic signals. An erectogram is obtained – a graph of the dependence of changes in the diameter of the penis on time of examination. A vasculogenic component of erectile function in the patient is determined. At the same time, readings of the diameter of the penis at its base in the maximum peak activity MPA% are taken from the erectogram. The sum of all peak values of penile tumescences EPT with duration of at least 10 min is calculated. Data is recorded of peak values of nocturnal penile tumescences EPT, which are in an amplitude interval between the minimum increase MinEPT in the form of a time interval fixed on the erectogram in comparison with a period of full detumescence and the maximum increase MaxEPT in the form of a time interval fixed on the erectogram in comparison with the period of full detumescence. Readings of a period of rigidity PERt are recorded. According to all readings, the safety of the erectile function SEF is determined. At the same time, with the maximum peak activity exceeding 150% relatively to the diameter of the root of the penis in the minimum peak activity, with a number of effective peak values of nocturnal penile tumescences greater than three with the total duration of at least 1 hour, the function will be considered saved.
EFFECT: method for determination of safety of erectile function in men is provided due to a combined assessment of the diameter at the root of the penis in maximum peak activity, the sum of all peak values of nocturnal penile tumescences being in an amplitude interval between the minimum increase and the maximum increase in the form of time intervals fixed on an erectogram in comparison with a period of complete detumescence, an effective period of rigidity, a high informative value of the study method is achieved due to the use of quantitative and qualitative approaches in assessment of a vascular component of erectile function, which allows for diagnostics of vasculogenic erectile dysfunction in a patient or its exclusion, as well as dynamic monitoring and assessment of the efficiency of the treatment.
