FIELD: biotechnology, pharmacology and medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, pharmacology and medicine. The use of lipopolysaccharide produced by a strain of phototrophic bacterium Rhodobacter capsulatus PG RNCIM IBFM RAS V-2381D as a non-toxic blocking factor protecting against the effects of lipoteichoic acids, Toll-like receptor 2 agonists.
EFFECT: invention provides for expanding the range of drugs based on non-toxic lipopolysaccharide produced by a strain of phototrophic bacterium Rhodobacter capsulatus PG for blocking the activation of intracellular signaling pathways by TLR2 ligands and the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines by immune cells.
