SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, and it is vitrification device (1601) containing: input part (1610) with input port (1604); sample chamber (1611); waste tank (1612) with hydraulic connection to sample chamber (1611), and a filtering mechanism, which selectively allows for liquid inserted through input port (1604) to pass through sample chamber (1611) and to waste tank (1612), retaining a sample in sample chamber (1611); lid (1603) reversibly attached to input part (1610) to close input port (1604). In this case, sample chamber (1611), waste tank (1612) and the filtering mechanism have a configuration that allows for liquid to be passed from the sample chamber through the filtering mechanism to waste tank (1612) by means of capillary action. The invention also concerns a sampling method using vitrification device (1601).
EFFECT: invention allows for vitrification of biological samples with significantly reduced risks of damage to a sample and human error.
