SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pharmaceutics and medicine, namely to a method for the treatment of rhinitis, including the administration of a combination containing or consisting of the first part in the form of a liquid decongestant agent with 0.05% wt./wt. of an oxymetazoline active agent and the second part containing or consisting of powder of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). In this case, both parts are intended for nasal application to a patient, where, after the specified first part administrated to the patient, the second part of the combination is administered. At the same time, a combination dosing scheme is one blowing or injection of the first part of the combination, after which the second part of the combination is blown or injected once a day during 7 days, while the first part of the combination and the second part of the combination are not administered during 8-15 days.

EFFECT: prolongation of contact of the first liquid part of a combination with nasal mucosa in the nasal cavity, and increase in the efficiency of liquid transfer through nasal mucosa, while using the second powder part, due to which the efficiency of a therapeutical agent contained in the first liquid part is increased, as well as preservation of the effect during a week after the treatment is finished at the claimed dosing mode.
