SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of biotechnology, specifically to the production of insulin derivatives; it can be used in medicine for the treatment of diabetes. The proposed invention allows for the production of an active form of a long-acting insulin analogue derivative in such a way that the insulin analogue can be converted into the active form without cleavage of B-chain, even when it interacts with clostripain. In a traditional method for conversion of proinsulin into an active form by means of using trypsin, an albumin-binding domain is cleaved, hindering the conversion of the long-acting insulin analogue derivative into the active form.
EFFECT: production method, according to the present invention, overcomes the specified obstacle, and, thereby, it can be effectively used for the production of a long-acting therapeutic means for the treatment of diabetes.
