FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the valve industry, in particular, direct-flow type control valves used in industrial pipeline fittings, and is intended for regulating and shutting off the working fluids of liquids and gases. An axial valve is proposed, containing an outer and inner housing, inlet and outlet flanges, a flow divider, coaxially to which a locking element is installed, connected to a rack and pinion drive by means of a stem, an expansion sleeve located in the outlet flange, a locking member, which is a disk with rounded edges, helical flow divider and windowed guide disc. Radial plates are placed perpendicular to the surface of the locking element located on the side of the outlet flange, the height of which decreases from the center of the locking member to the periphery, and the height of the turns of the flow divider spiral and the diameter of the hole in the expansion sleeve decrease from the inner body to the outlet flange.
EFFECT: axial valve design prevents cavitation.
