SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to a heating unit for a smoking device. The effect is achieved by the fact that the heating unit includes the first electrically insulating base element and the second electrically insulating base element connected to the first; the first electrically insulating base element is covered on the outside with a heat-generating layer, the heat-generating layer has a current circuit for generating heat when current is passed through it, while the second electrically insulating base element is a non-conductive and non-heat-generating zone. A seat is put on the second electrically insulating base element from the outside, while the seat is used to connect the heating unit to the smoking device. An electrode connection zone is provided on the heat generating layer near the seat, wherein the electrode connection zone includes a plurality of electrodes for connection to a power supply.

EFFECT: optimizing the energy utilization and heating effect, reducing energy losses, as well as ensuring the durability and economy of the device.
