FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of acoustic engineering, namely, to designs of electrostatic loudspeakers for high-quality reproduction of music and speech. Electrostatic loudspeaker for reproducing high acoustic frequencies with a circular directivity pattern comprises a body in the form of an upper part and a lower base, and a cylindrical electrostatic emitter. The electrostatic emitter consists of two cylindrical perforated stators and a film stretched between said stators by means of two insulators. The insulators provide a gap between the film and the stators. The height of the emitting part of the film of the electrostatic emitter is 25 mm. The electrostatic emitter of the claimed electrostatic loudspeaker for reproducing high acoustic frequencies with a circular directivity pattern is configured to generate an arc-shaped wavefront, and the height of the electrostatic emitter is at least five times smaller than the diameter thereof. The electrostatic loudspeaker additionally comprises a sound-absorbing material between the upper part and the lower base.
EFFECT: circular directivity pattern of the electrostatic loudspeaker at high frequencies and high quality of sound.
