SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electroplastic molding treatment of titanium alloys and can be used in the manufacture of medical implants. A mechanical load and a pulsed electric current are applied to the workpiece. The mechanical load is created by a press at a deformation temperature not exceeding 350°C. In this case, a punch and a die are used, electrically isolated from the press. The pulse current is supplied to the punch and the matrix with a frequency F = 100-1000 Hz. Pulse duration τ=100-1000 microseconds. Amplitude current density j=10-100 A/mm2, space factor 10-20.

EFFECT: as a result, the required plastic molding of titanium semi-finished products is provided without cracking.
