FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for non-destructive control of parameters of steel ropes, as well as prediction of a residual resource of a rope. Continuous and simultaneous reading of indications of Hall sensors, inductive coils, an eddy current sensor, a temperature sensor, a rope tension sensor, and an odometer is performed. Received data is transmitted to a control and indication unit (hereinafter – CIU) for processing. Based on read data, operating time and safety factor of the rope are determined. CIU compares obtained values with permissible ones and forms a solution on a technical condition of the rope and predicts its residual resource.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of prediction of a residual resource of a rope and a degree of operational safety of the rope.
