FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering. The measuring current transformer contains primary and secondary windings and a composite magnetic circuit placed in a protective container. The magnetic circuit consists of external and internal cores made of one or more rings. The inner ring is made on the basis of an amorphous iron alloy. And the outer ring is made on the basis of an amorphous cobalt alloy. The inner core transforms the current with a low error at low electromagnetic fields and the outer core transforms the current with a low error at high electromagnetic fields.
EFFECT: ensuring the reduction of the error, ensuring the linearity of the accuracy of the transformation in the operating range, by reducing the loss of magnetization reversal and increasing magnetic permeability.
