FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, oncology and radiation therapy, and can be used for treating Ehrlich adenocarcinoma by means of radiation therapy. The neoplasms are locally irradiated with bremsstrahlung at a power of 6 MeV with a total focal dose of 20 Gy after preliminarily introducing a radio modifier directly into the tumour. Synthesised microparticles of phosphate glass alloyed with 40% tantalum oxide are used as a radio modifier. The radio modifier is introduced as a 1% mass. suspension in saline solution, wherein the size of said microparticles in the suspension is up to 100 mcm.
EFFECT: method improves local control over tumour growth, reduces the volume of tissues removed with the tumour, reduces the radiation load on the tissues surrounding the surgery area due to the application of microparticles of phosphate glass alloyed with 40% tantalum oxide as a radio modifier.
