SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for managing a group of self-driving vehicles. A method for managing a group of self-driving vehicles, performed by a computing device and including the following steps: from one wireless access point located on a self-driving vehicle, broadcast data packets with data about its route and a request to form a peloton of self-driving vehicles, receive a positive response from a self-driving vehicle with the intention of forming a peloton of self-driving vehicles. Wherein the route of this vehicle coincides with the route of the self-driving vehicle that sent a request to form a peloton, a peloton of self-guided vehicles with a matching route is formed by means of a computing device, control commands are sent from the self-guided vehicle, which goes first in the peloton, to the self-guided vehicle following the first self-guided vehicle for movements in the peloton.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of vehicles.
