FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to devices for low-temperature treatment of a multicomponent medium, namely, for separating natural gas, and can be used to separate the liquid fraction of hydrocarbon gases, as well as heavier C5+ hydrocarbons in the preparation of natural gas in the oil and gas industry. The device for separating a multicomponent medium contains a nozzle channel, including confuser, diffuser sections and a critical section between them. A device for swirling the flow of a multicomponent medium is installed in the diffuser section, which is made in the form of a profiled body of revolution, the ends of which are connected to the bases of the inlet and outlet cones, the inlet cone being located at a distance from the critical section, at which the value of the supersonic flow velocity of the multicomponent medium is provided. Profiled blades are made on the surface of the profiled body of revolution, between which channels are formed. A hollow cone is installed in the outlet part of the diffuser section to form an annular cavity for the passage of the liquid fraction of hydrocarbons. In an embodiment, the device additionally contains an electric generator connected to the device for swirling the flow of a multicomponent medium.
EFFECT: inventions group makes it possible to significantly increase the efficiency of the process of capturing condensed components at supersonic speeds and provide the possibility of generating electricity.
