FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: methods for low-temperature treatment of a multicomponent medium used in the process of preparing natural gas for use, for example, in the oil and gas industry. The method for separating the flow includes increasing its speed to sound values, then feeding it to the diffuser section, where it is sped up above the speed of sound. After condensation of the liquid hydrocarbon fraction, the flow is fed to the flow swirling device, which is mounted on a shaft placed in the bearing assembly to form a rotor connected to the electric generator. The diffuser section is made up of two parts, with a transition from a smaller opening angle of the first part to a larger opening angle of the second part and with the formation of an internal profile break at the transition point. The flow swirling device and the hollow cone are sequentially installed at the outlet of the second part, while a confuser-diffuser transition is made inside the hollow cone, and profiled channels are made in the rotor cross section for supply and discharge of the working fluid during separation.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of the process of trapping condensed components.
