FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for low-temperature treatment of a multicomponent medium and can be used in the process of preparing natural gas for use, for example, in the oil and gas industry. The method for separating the flow includes increasing its speed to sound values, feeding it to the diffuser section, where it is sped up above the speed of sound. After condensation of the liquid hydrocarbon fraction, the flow is fed to the flow swirling device, which is mounted on a shaft placed in the bearing assembly to form a rotor connected to the electric generator. The diffuser section of the nozzle channel is made up of two profiled parts, with a transition from the smaller opening angle of the first part to the larger opening angle of the second part. The flow swirling device and the hollow cone are sequentially installed at the outlet of the second part of the diffuser section. Inside the said hollow cone, a confuser-diffuser transition is performed. Profiled channels are made in the cross section of the rotor, in which electric heating elements are installed to heat the wall of the flow swirling device during separation.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of the process of trapping condensed components.
