FIELD: ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for the treatment of corneal defects of various etiologies. The silicified amniotic membrane is saturated with autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) lysate in a volume of 2 ml for 5 minutes. The de-epithelialized surface of the cornea is coated with an amniotic membrane impregnated with PRP lysate. Additionally fixed with a soft contact lens. A temporary lateral blepharorrhaphy is performed. After 5-7 days, the sutures are removed, the amniotic membrane is removed. In the absence of complete epithelialization, the procedure is repeated.
EFFECT: invention provides complete epithelialization of corneal defects with reduced rehabilitation time and preservation of corneal transparency.
