FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To treat deep corneal defects, an autologous thrombofibrin clot is placed on the surface of the cornea. First, autologous plasma is obtained by single-step centrifugation from non-stabilized blood. It is incubated at room temperature until formation of gel. After constriction, clot characterized by content of functionally complete thrombocytes in concentration of at least 240*109/l, placed on the cornea, covered with an amniotic membrane and fixed with sutures. Subconjunctivally in 4 quadrants by limb there introduced is autologous serum in total volume 0.5 ml and tarsorrhaphy is administered. Procedure is repeated once a week until complete epithelisation.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the length of healing of damaged corneal surface, improving quality of its healing, forming turbidity of lower intensity in case of deep injuries.
