FIELD: silver sulfide nanoparticles production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing silver sulfide nanoparticles and can be used in biology and medicine as fluorescent labels. A method for obtaining silver sulfide quantum dots in an organic shell is proposed, which includes processing a mixture of silver nitrate and sodium sulfide in deuterated water in the presence of an organic stabilizer, characterized in that 3-mercaptopropyl-trimethoxysilane (MPS) is used as an organic stabilizer at a molar ratio (in terms of on Ag2S) of silver sulfide and MPS equal to 1:0.25-0.5, and the treatment is carried out by ultrasonic radiation with a frequency of 18-20 kHz, first a mixture of aqueous solutions of silver nitrate with a concentration of 0.625-2.5 mm and sodium sulfide with a concentration of 0 ,3125-1.25 mm for 20-30 seconds, and then after adding a 0.6% solution of 3-mercaptopropyl-trimethoxysilane in ethanol to the solution for another 2-3 minutes, after which deuterated water at a volume ratio equal to the solution of the initial components: deuterated water = 1:1.2, and treated with ultrasonic radiation for 2-3 minutes.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain quantum dots of silver sulfide in an organic shell, provides a stable luminescence intensity due to the unchanged chemical composition of the obtained material during the entire storage period under normal conditions.
