FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical measurements and concerns luminescent temperature indicators and can be used for visual monitoring of overheating of parts or equipment in various technological processes. A method for manufacturing a luminescent ratiometric thermal indicator is proposed, containing the steps at which: mesogenic lanthanide complexes are obtained in powder form, a mixture of which is a ratiometric system; characterized by preparing a quartz glass substrate; the aforementioned complexes are applied in powder form to the substrate; the said complexes are coated in powder form with a quartz glass lid, while the thickness of the space between the substrate and the lid is set using a film of material inert to the substrate, lid and the said complex; the said complexes are heated to the temperature of transition to an isotropic melt state; lanthanides are europium(III) and terbium(III).
EFFECT: obtaining materials with high light transmittance (more than 90%) in the entire visible and near infrared wavelength range, increasing photostability, providing high thermal sensitivity in a wide temperature range.
