FIELD: cell biology.
SUBSTANCE: cellular culture medium is proposed with addition of amorphous calcium carbonate (hereinafter – ACC) stabilized with at least one stabilizing agent, suitable for growth and improving growth of a biological culture. At the same time, the stabilizer is selected from a group consisting of polyphosphate containing from 2 to 10 phosphate groups, phosphorylated amino acids, organic acids, phosphorylated, phosphonated, sulfated, or sulfonated organic compounds, phosphorous or sulfur composite esters of hydroxycarboxylic acids, bisphosphonate, and any combinations thereof, while the biological culture is an animal cell culture. A kit for the production of a culture medium, and a method for the improvement of growth of a biological culture of animal cells, using the specified ACC, are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides the improvement of growth of animal cell cultures.
