FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Disclosed method of producing definitive endoderm cells, which includes culturing stem cells derived from parthenogenetic cells in the presence of trichostatin A (TSA), in conditions where activin A is absent, where the TSA alters the epigenetic status of the cell; culturing the stem cells in the absence of TSA, thereby obtaining definitive endoderm cells, where the TSA is present in concentration of 100 nM-100 mcM and where culturing in the presence of TSA is carried out for 24-72 hours and culturing in the absence of TSA is carried out for 6-72 hours.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the method.
