FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: system (700) is provided for using steam pressure to determine the concentration of a component in a multicomponent fluid. The system (700) includes an electronic device (710) connected with the possibility of communication with a measuring transducer (720) configured to perceive a multicomponent fluid medium. The electronic device (710) is configured to determine the first vapor pressure, the first vapor pressure is the vapor pressure of the first component of the multicomponent fluid, determine the second vapor pressure, the second vapor pressure is the vapor pressure of the second component of the multicomponent fluid, and determine the multicomponent vapor pressure, the multicomponent vapor pressure is the vapor pressure of the multicomponent fluid. The electronic device (710) is also configured to determine the concentration of at least one of the first component and the second component based on the multicomponent vapor pressure, the first vapor pressure and the second vapor pressure. The electronic device (710) is additionally configured to determine the vapor pressure based on the gain of the exciting signal provided to the measuring transducer (720).

EFFECT: determination of the exact true value of the vapor pressure.
