The device for the introduction of solid bulk preservatives on a forage harvester is characterized by the fact that it contains a hopper equipped with racks for attachment to the combine, to the bottom of which coil seeding machines are attached containing seeding coils that are attached to the shaft, while above the seeding machine there is a shaft with spring agitators attached to it, which are located above the seeding coils, at the same time, drive sprockets are located at the ends of the shafts, a guide casing is also attached to the hopper from below, a mechanism for adjusting the rate of preservative application, containing a housing to which a pointer, a handle, a stud are attached, while the housing is fixed by means of a stud and a nut to a bar with a measuring ruler applied to it.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to evenly feed a bulk preservative over the entire width of the feeding apparatus immediately before grinding it.
