FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to physical rehabilitation medicine, neurology, sanatorium-and-spa rehabilitation, and can be used for complex sanatorium-and-spa rehabilitation of patients with multiple sclerosis in a relapsing course of the disease. Muscle electrical stimulation is performed using vacuum electrodes, and for stimulation of paretic muscles in the absence of their spasticity, the carrier frequency of the current is 2000 Hz, and for stimulation of the muscles-antagonists of spastic muscles, the carrier frequency of the current is 5000 Hz. Aerobic endurance is increased by exercising on an exercise bike with an initial intensity of 50% of the patient's maximum heart rate achieved during preliminary testing and an increase in intensity to 70% of the maximum heart rate by the end of the rehabilitation course. A motor stereotype is trained, including training of endurance, synergism of movements, dynamic balance, walking speed using robotic mechanotherapy on a neurosensory path with biofeedback (BFB). Training of postural tone and balance is carried out on a stabiloplatform with biofeedback by passing computer stabilometric games. Exercise therapy includes exercises to strengthen the muscles of the lower extremities and the pelvic girdle. Improving the microcirculation of the limbs and proprioceptive sensitivity is carried out using two-chamber whirlpool baths for arms and legs, general dry carbonic baths with certain procedure parameters. Classes in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy are conducted.
EFFECT: method provides improvement of walking function, reduction of pain syndrome, increase of daily activity, improvement of psycho-emotional state due to the complex use of muscle electrical stimulation, exercises on an exercise bike, mechanotherapy and exercise therapy.
