FIELD: glass.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a vacuum glass assembly applying lead-free frit fired at low temperatures. Glass frit contains the following components, wt.%: 10 to 20 P2O5, 50 to 70 V2O5, 5 to 20 TeO2, 1 to 5 CuO, 1 to 20 BaO and/or ZnO, and 1 to 30 Bi2O3 and/or Ag2O. Paste of the above glass frit is prepared, a first glass base and a second glass base are prepared, the glass frit paste is applied to the edge of the first or the second glass base, and the space between the first and the second glass bases is sealed by firing the glass frit paste at a temperature of 400°C or lower, resulting in a vacuum glass assembly. Such a vacuum glass assembly can be used in a household appliance or in manufacturing window glass for building. Glass frit used in the method has a thermal expansion coefficient corresponding to the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass base material for the prevention of separation or damage and ensures that the resulting assembly has excellent stability.
EFFECT: creation of glass frit ensuring excellent stability of the glass assembly.
