FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solution of a super-concentrated additive and, in some embodiments, to a super-concentrated solution used as an additive to a heat carrier for cooling systems. A solution of the super-concentrated additive is proposed, containing: water; a freezing point reducer; phosphoric acid, or alkaline metal phosphate; water-soluble polymer; a compound selected from a group containing a magnesium compound, a lithium compound, a calcium compound, a strontium compound, and a combination thereof; where the solution of the super-concentrated additive is a single-phase homogenous solution at a room temperature and has pH of less than 5.5. A method for improvement of a corrosion protection characteristic is also proposed, including addition of a solution of a super-concentrated additive to a heat carrier.

EFFECT: proposed solution of a super-concentrated additive can be added to a heat carrier for improvement of corrosion protection characteristics and increase in a service life of a heat transfer system and its components or liquids used in this system; in addition, the solution of the super-concentrated additive can be used in flexible production of a heat carrier concentrate having highly effective corrosion protection, previously diluted heat carriers, ready-to-use heat carriers, or as a previously introduced additive for protection of CAB-soldered components in the heat transfer system.
