SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the device and method for manufacturing a non-vulcanized ribbon-like rubber element. The device is made with the possibility of extending the ribbon-like rubber element to the target length and contains: a part for placement, on which a non-vulcanized ribbon-like rubber element is placed in a flat position, cut to a predetermined length; position sensor (13), which detects the front end (Ra) and the rear end (Rb) of a ribbon-shaped rubber element (R) placed in a flat position, along the entire width direction (W) of the ribbon-shaped rubber element (R); control unit, which receives detection data from the position sensor; mechanism (4) to hold the front end, which holds the front end; and a mechanism (7) to hold the rear end, which holds the rear end. Moreover, at least one, the mechanism for holding the front end and the mechanism for holding the rear end contains a plurality of holding parts (8) located next to each other in the direction of the width (W) of the ribbon-shaped rubber element, and moving parts, each of which separately moves each of the plurality of holding parts in the direction (L) forward and backward of the band-shaped rubber element. In this case, the displacement of each of the parts for moving in the direction (L) forward and backward is controlled by the control unit (12) based on the detection data and data on the target length for adjusting the degree of elongation in the direction (L) forward and backward on the held part of the ribbon-like rubber element held by each of the set of parts for holding, or near it.

EFFECT: providing a device and a method for manufacturing a non-vulcanized ribbon-like rubber element, which ensure the achievement of the exact target length of the compressible non-vulcanized ribbon-like rubber element.
