DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NON-VULCANIZED RING RUBBER ELEMENT Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B29D30/30

Abstract RU 2782757 C1

FIELD: rubber industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the device and method for manufacturing a non-vulcanized ring rubber element. The device contains: a conveyor (2) transporting a non-vulcanized rubber element (R) in the form of a tape to the forming drum; a leading edge arrangement mechanism that holds and places the front edge part (4a) of the rubber element (R) in the form of a tape on the outer ring surface (13a) of the forming drum (13); a trailing edge connection mechanism that holds and connects the rear edge part (Rb) of the rubber element (R) in the form of a tape with the front edge part (Ra) on the outer annular surface (13a); and a control unit (12) made with the ability to control the movement of the conveyor (2), the mechanism for the arrangement of the front edge (Ra) and the rear edge connection mechanism (Rb). Moreover, the front edge part (Ra) and the rear edge part (Rb) of the rubber element (R) in the form of a tape are wound around the outer ring surface (13a) and connected with a pre-established permissible margin for connection. In this case, the permissible margin for connection is the corresponding magnitude of overlap in the forward-backward direction (L) when the front edge part (Ra) and the rear edge part are connected. In addition, the rear edge connection mechanism contains a set of retaining parts located side by side in the direction (W) of the width of the rubber element in the form of a tape, and moving parts that separately move each of the retaining parts of the rubber element (R) in the form of a tape in the direction (L) forward-backward. Moreover, before attaching the rear edge part to the front edge part (4a), the control unit controls the amount of movement of each of the parts to move in the forward-backward direction, using the data of the distribution of the length of the rubber element (R) in the form of a tape in the direction (W) of width, and thus the degree of elongation in the direction (L) forward-backward around the holding part of the rear edge part (Rb) held by each of the adjustable holding parts.

EFFECT: providing a device and a method by which a non-vulcanized ring rubber element can be produced by connecting the longitudinal end sections of a non-vulcanized rubber element in the form of a tape on the outer ring surface of the forming drum in a uniform and more reliable manner in the direction of the entire width.
