FIELD: personal protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal protective equipment against falls from a height and can be used in the field of electric power industry to prevent a person from falling when ascending and descending onto the supports of overhead power lines and portals of open switchgears of electric stations and substations. The system for ensuring safety when lifting/lowering a person to a height contains a T-shaped rigid anchor line located along the end support sections of the power line supports, with holes located on it throughout the entire length and a slide-type personal protective equipment with an eccentric mechanism. T-shaped rigid anchor line consists of segments connected by bolted connections with their end faces using straight and/or curved connectors. The upper end stop of the T-shaped rigid anchor line is located at the upper end of the T-shaped rigid anchor line, the lower end stop is located at the lower end of the T-shaped rigid anchor line, and the T-shaped rigid anchor line is attached to the end support sections of the transmission towers using large and small fixing brackets.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of lifting personnel on the structures of power transmission line supports in the absence of a risk of loss of health and life of an employee when climbing along straight guides with angles of deviation of sections of a rigid anchor line from the absolute vertical of less than 15° and no deviation back, minimizing the effect of a pendulum and the impact of an employee on the structure in case of disruption, as well as in ensuring safety throughout the work.
