FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of organic chemistry and pharmaceuticals, namely, to a benzoindazolone compound applicable as an NQO1 substrate and to an intermediate thereof. Disclosed is a compound represented by the chemical formula 1 or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of H, a halogen, a nitro, and NR5R6; R2 is selected from the group consisting of H, a C1-6 alkyl, and a substituted or non-substituted C6 aryl; R3 is absent or selected from the group consisting of a C1-6 alkyl or a non-substituted C6 aryl; R4 constitutes O or a C1-6 alkoxy; R5 and R6 each independently constitute H; X1 and X4 constitute C, and X2 and X3 constitute N; and constitutes a single or a double bond, depending on R2, R3, R4, X1, X2, X3, and X4; wherein the alkyl constitutes a linear or branched alkyl, wherein when the aryl is substituted, the substituent thereof constitutes a halogen or a C1-6 alkyl substituted with 1 to 3 halogens. Also disclosed is a compound represented by the following chemical formula 2.
EFFECT: creation of an effective NQO1 substrate for facilitating the redox reaction of NQO1, potentially beneficial in preventing or treating inflammatory diseases.
