FIELD: railway tracks maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of maintenance of the superstructure of the railway track, in particular to methods of extraction and ballast. To extract the ballast, trenches are formed from the ends of the sleepers on both sides of the track. The cut ballast is fed to a crushed stone cleaning device or a conveyor on a platform. Under the rail and sleeper grid, a pressure plow and sump blades form an advanced gap. The loosened ballast is raked out into both trenches by devices with raking blades that perform an alternating movement. The remaining unextracted ballast is raked out with a mouldboard plow. The ballast along the trench is moved by conveyor buckets to the unloading site. The site is equipped with a restrictive plow. The ballast is fed to the crushed stone cleaning device by a conveyor.
EFFECT: performance of the ballast cleaning machine is increased.
