FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: interfering RNA molecule is presented, having insecticide activity relatively to Diabrotica virgifera insect. An expression vector, a transgenic plant, and a transgenic seed are also presented, which contain the specified interfering RNA. In addition, the use of interfering RNA in a method for destruction of Diabrotica virgifera insect is disclosed.
EFFECT: invention can be used for provision of protection of plants from damage caused by Diabrotica virgifera insect.
