FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silane mixtures used in the manufacture of rubber mixtures. A silane mixture is proposed, containing silane of the formula I and silane of the formula II, where R¹ have the same or different values and are C₁-C₁₀alkoxy groups, R² are absent, R³ and R⁴ have the same or different values and are an unbranched saturated aliphatic divalent hydrocarbon group with C₁-C₃₀, x is an integer from 1 to 2, while in case, when x is 1, R⁵ is hydrogen or a group -C(=O)-R⁸, where R⁸ is C₁-C₂₀alkyl group, and n is 1, and in case, when x is 2, R⁵ is -(R⁴-S)_n-R³-Si(R¹)_y(R²)_3-y, and n is 0 or 1, and y is 3, while the molar ratio between silane of the formula I and silane of the formula II is from 15:85 to 90:10. The silane mixture proposed in the invention can be prepared by mixing of silanes of the formula I and silanes of the formula II.

EFFECT: proposed silane mixtures, when used in a composition of rubber mixtures, provide reduction in rolling resistance and improvement of dynamic rigidity.
