FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry.
SUBSTANCE: young whiskey distillate is obtained by a classic technology and is diluted with softened water to an alcohol content of 45%. Then, mechanical mixing with a mixer rotation frequency from 1500 to 3000 rev/min is carried out for 5-10 minutes. After that, activated whiskey distillate is directed for maturation in oak barrels. Upon completion of the entire maturation process, aged whiskey distillate is prepared for filtration and further filling in consumer containers.
EFFECT: invention allows for intensification of an aging process of whiskey distillate.
