FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: boiler house on LNG with production of water ice includes: cryogenic tank for LNG storage, cryogenic pump for pumping LNG through heat exchangers, receiving heat from water during its transition to solid phase and from flue gases of boiler house boilers, turboexpander with electric generator, storage for storage of solid phase. Air ducts form a closed circuit, which includes an axial fan, ice storage, which is divided into two equal parts by a partition, which are alternately connected to a common closed circuit by means of gates. In the upper part of the closed circuit located above and between the parts of the storage, in series after the fan and the air cooler there is a spraying device for spraying water, which is forced by a pump from a fresh water tank under pressure through the nozzles of the spraying device into the cooled air flow, where it freezes in suspension and is directed to one of the storage parts by a flow of cooled air. Parts of the storage operate alternately in two modes: filling and flow rate of frozen water (ice and snow particles).
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of producing water ice in an ice generator operating on cold-cooled evaporating LNG in a heat exchanger-cooler.
