FIELD: otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to otorhinolaryngology. The method includes infusion intravenous therapy: dexamethasone in a decreasing pattern, while dexamethasone is administered 4 mg/ml per 100 ml of saline, and on the first and second days - 24 mg, on the third and fourth days - 16 mg, on the fifth day - 8 mg, the sixth day - 4 mg, the seventh day - the drug is not administered, the eighth day - 4 mg. At the same time, dexamethasone is combined with a triazino-indole derivative 10 mg/ml - 4 ml per 100 ml of physiological solution daily for 7 days, while the resulting solution is administered intravenously, 60-70 drops per minute, once a day.

EFFECT: method allows to improve the patient's subjective state: eliminate tinnitus and increase the perception of whispered speech, as well as hearing thresholds according to tone threshold audiometry, otoacoustic emission indicators.
