FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of building materials by colouring elastic materials (rubber granules or crushed material), and can be used to produce coloured decorative coatings of playgrounds and sports grounds, in landscape engineering and rubber manufacture. Method for producing a coloured coating filler from elastic materials includes the stage of forming a shell from the colouring substance in the form of a PU binder, pigment, or paste-like dye on the surface of an elastic material by mixing the elastic material with said colouring substance and with a polymerisation catalyst of the binder in a mixing apparatus, wherein rubber granules or crushed rubber from recycled automotive tyres 1.5 to 4 mm in size are used as elastic material, water is used as a polymerisation catalyst of the PU binder, the shell is formed from the colouring substance cyclically in two stages: first, up to five batches are prepared in a mixing apparatus with a vertical blade shaft, whereon two rows of radial rectangular blades with a relative offset of 60° are secured, while the peripheral rotation speed of the shaft blades is 7 to 7.5 m/s, for 2 to 3 minutes until the incomplete process of polymerisation of the PU binder; the semi-finished product of each batch is then unloaded into a mixing and turning apparatus with a volume more than five times the volume of the mixing apparatus, and the PU binder undergoes after-polymerisation at a shaft rotation speed from 3 to 6 rpm for 10 to 15 minutes as part of the polymer colouring composition, the possible colour difference is corrected, and the product is cooled before dispensing and packaging.

EFFECT: creation of a cost-effective method for producing a high-quality coloured coating filler with high aesthetic characteristics, improved quality of colouring with a reduction in the time of colouring and increase in the productivity of the method.
