FIELD: radar technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of short-range radar with pulse modulation of radiation, intra-pulse reception and signal processing. The signal processing method and radar sensor (RS) can be used in systems for target detection and measurement of their motion parameters in the selection zone. A radar sensor for detecting targets and measuring their motion parameters in the selection zone, implementing the claimed method, contains an antenna, a Doppler receiving and transmitting module with quadrature outputs I(t) and Q(t) of converted signals, a signal processing unit and a synchronization and pulse generation unit, and the first and second analog are additionally introduced into it-digital converters, the signal inputs of which are connected to the quadrature outputs I(t) and Q(t) of the Doppler receiving and transmitting module, and the outputs to the signal inputs of the signal processing unit.

EFFECT: obtaining a range resolution from an RS with intra-pulse reception and processing of radio signals and providing the possibility of separate detection of multiple location objects in the selection zone, determining the distance to them and the speed of movement, as well as vibration parameters and the law of movement of the location object when processing each probing radio pulse.
