FIELD: chemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for extracting actinides from the anode residue of the operation of electrolytic refining of spent nuclear fuel and can be used in creating the technology of a closed nuclear fuel cycle of fast-neutron reactors. Method includes the conversion of metal uranium and actinides into chlorides by means of chemical dissolution in the melt of a eutectic LiCl-KCl mixture whereto a chlorinating agent is introduced in portions. The anode residue herein is recycled in an apparatus using an inert gas atmosphere; lead chloride is used as a chlorinating agent; the anode residue is recycled at a temperature of 500 to 700°C in the same apparatus as the one used in the operation of electrolytic refining of spent nuclear fuel.
EFFECT: increase in the degree of extraction of actinides from the anode residue of the operation of electrolytic refining of spent nuclear fuel without additional recycling of the anode residue outside of the refining apparatus.
