FIELD: carbon fibres.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing finished carbon fibres and composite materials based on them intended as structural polymer materials for the production of special-purpose products in additive process, including PEI and CF, finished with a mixture of m-diaminebenzene and m-dioxylbenzene. The quantitative ratio of components for finishing carbon fibre is, wt.%: carbon fibre 96.5, m-dioxybenzene 0.5-3.0, m-diaminobenzene 0.5-3.0. A polymer composite used in production of the items is also described, containing a polymer matrix based on polyetherimide in an amount of 80 wt.% and finished carbon fibre in an amount of 20 wt.%.

EFFECT: improving the modulus and bending strength of the created polymer carbon fibre composite due to introduction of a sizing composition, which increases wettability of the filler and increases intermolecular interactions between the carbon fibre and the polyesterimide matrix.
