FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to wooden building constructions. The load-bearing building construction includes a horizontal wooden beam with a rectangular cross section with one or more longitudinal grooves on the upper face and reinforcing metal ropes. The beam is mounted on supports made with grooves, the ends of the beam are provided with metal plates rigidly fastened to them, made with upper and lower grooves. The lower horizontal section of the plates is located below the lower face of the beam, and in the grooves of the beam, plates and supports there is a metal rope stretched by a tensioning device, the axis of which forms a closed trajectory around the upper face of the beam and metal plates.
EFFECT: increase in the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
