SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerosol generating devices. An evaporator assembly for an electrical aerosol generating device contains a generally planar fluid-permeable heating element with the first side and the second side opposite to the first side, a liquid transportation carrier, and a liquid supply channel. The liquid transportation carrier has the first side in contact with the second side of the heating element, and the second side opposite to the first side. A thickness of the liquid transportation carrier between the first and the second sides of the liquid transportation carrier is from 1 mm to 5 mm. The heating element passes above the first area of the first side of the liquid transportation carrier. The liquid supply channel has the first end in contact with the second side of the liquid transportation carrier, passing above only the second area of the second side of the liquid transportation carrier, while the second area is less than the first area. The liquid transportation carrier is made with the possibility of transportation of liquid from the liquid supply channel to the first area of the second side of the heating element.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of heating for an evaporator assembly.
